Program Temporary Fix
This PTF corrects the following problems which can arise in the
released version of Windowing System Manager. French language
files are not yet available for this PTF.
Registration of Additional Products
This PTF prompts for registration information for products that have
recently been added to the list of ACCPAC products.
Corrected Detection of Valid Directories
This PTF corrects a problem identifying certain directories as
valid. For example, specifying: PLUS /UP:\ to run ACCPAC Plus with
the user options file in the P:\ directory would sometimes fail if
drive P was a mapped drive on a server.
Corrected occasional failure in Full-Screen
under Windows NT
This PTF corrects problems that can appear when running in the
full-screen mode under Windows NT.
* Corrected Conversion of Data Files
This PTF corrects problems that can appear when upgrading data for
some applications to newer versions. For example, the fix is
required to correctly update older versions of Order Entry to
version 6.1B.
Allow Correction of Incorrectly Entered Dates
This PTF allows the user to correct a date that they have entered
incorrectly. (The release version of Windowing System Manager 6.5
displays an error message when you enter an invalid date, but it
also re-inserts the original date and moves the cursor to the next
field.)
Date Import Correction
This update correctly imports year 2000 dates in older 6.0 and 6.1
ACCPAC applications when the current date is at or beyond the year 2000.
Correction of Field Display Problems
The current release of System Manager 6.5A has problems displaying
hidden date fields that are used in some data input forms when
multicurrency is turned off.
The result is that screens are incorrecty displayed, and that
data can go into the wrong fields. For example, this happens when
adding invoices in Accounts Receivable 6.5 and specifying payments
at the same time.
This PTF fixes the problem.
Protection under Novell Netware 5
Due to changes in Novell Netware, it is possible for applications to
delete all the data files by accident while cleaning up temporary
files. This PTF protects against this deletion by detecting invalid
requests from the application.
