Program Temporary Fix
This PTF corrects the following problems which can arise in the
released version of System Manager:
ASCII 224 Character
This update enables the Windowing System Manager to use ASCII
character 224. As a result, this version will work with the
double-byte characters required by the Japanese version of DOS.
Auto Macros for Standard C Add-on Functions
This update allows you to use auto macros with add-on functions to
existing ACCPAC applications. The update is not required for
functions that are part of the original accounting programs.
If you currently encounter the message "Wrong menu item
specified in CHOICE command" when running an auto macro, this
update should fix the problem.
For more information see "Creating an Auto Macro" in
the "Using Macros" chapter of the ACCPAC Plus Windowing
System Manager manual.
Date Check Correction
This update correctly identifies 29 February 2000 as a valid date.
Date Import Correction
This update correctly imports year 2000 dates in older 6.0 and 6.1
ACCPAC applications when the current date is at or beyond the year
2000.
New Printer Drivers
This update installs five new printer drivers. The first allows HP
Laserjet printers to print 224 columns across a page in landscape
mode, by removing the excess left-hand margin. The other four (the
Laserjet 4/5 drivers)
allow ACCPAC Plus to make better use of the features of HP Laserjet
4 or later printers.
To select one of the new configurations, use the Printer Setup
option on the System Manager Menu. Choose one of the following:
- Hewlett-Packard LaserJet (Landscape) No Margin
- Hewlett-Packard Laserjet 4/5
- Hewlett-Packard Laserjet 4/5 (66 lines per page)
- Hewlett-Packard Laserjet 4/5 (Landscape)
- Hewlett-Packard Laserjet 4/5 (Landscape) No Margin
Correction of Field Display Problems
The current release of System Manager 6.1A has problems displaying
hidden 4-digit date fields that are used in some data input forms
when multi-currency is turned off.
The result is that screens are incorrecty displayed, and that
data can go into the wrong fields.
This PTF fixes the problem.
