Program Temporary Fix
Order Entry 6.1B with Scanpac
This PTF corrects the following problems which can arise in the
released version of Order Entry 6.1B with ScanPAC:
Data Integrity Problems when Two Users Delete Bar Codes
and Items
In the current release, you can have data integrity problems if one
user deletes a bar code and a second user (or second Inventory
Control window on the same workstation) deletes an inventory item.
This PTF fixes the problem.
Using Dynaview API
This PTF updates the data dictionary to correct problems in reading
data through the Dynaview API.
Menu
The menu function is updated in this PTF for third party developers
adding Standard C programs to Inventory Control.
Integrity Checker
This PTF changes the integrity checker to correct a problem that
allowed you to "fix" a deleted item from a BOM detail.
This problem resulted in the inability to add new items to the BOM.
Adjustment Posting
This PTF ensures that adjustments transactions are posted to the
correct fiscal period.
Importing Shipments, Receipts, and Orders
The released version of Inventory Control has problems importing
shipments, receipts, and orders beyond the year 2000. This PTF fixes
these problems.
Conversion from 6.0A and 6.0B Databases That Do Not Use
Two Decimal Places
The conversion function in this PTF is not included in the normal
installation process and therefore must be copied onto your hard
disk separately.
A 6.0 database can have from 0 to 4 decimals. When converting to
6.1B, the user is required to enter a currency code. The number of
decimals must match the decimals of the 6.0 database. If your 6.0
database did NOT use two decimal places, type:
COPY A:\ICASP\CONV\ICCCHK.LD4 C:\ICASP
to copy the conversion program to the \ICASP directory on your
hard disk.
